Wigs!

I think I'm gonna take a stab at styling my own Cosplay wigs. It would be a big saver on money, and there are a lot of good tutorials online. I live next to a huge costume shop call Hokus Pokus and they just put up a big Clearance sign. That's probably where I'll get my first try wigs. I don't really want to experiment on a really nice wig the first time. I just need to pick a character to base the wig on. Wish me Luck

The convention was sooooo much fun! I wanna thank my good friend Keo for driving us around all weekend. She was the Best Tobi (From Naruto) and Yuki (From Vampire Knight) ever! Also thanks to Beth for inviting me to the con! I also got to meet Vic Mignogna! Yay!

Train

In about 24 hours I'll will be arriving by train to Richmond Virginia! I'm so excited! I have the whole week off to frolic and play with my friends. This is gonna be Epic!

2 more days!

I have two more work days to go and then its off to Virginia for my Vacation! I just have to last threw 16 more hours of ringing Groceries and dealing with Costumers. I can't wait to have nothing to do for a whole week but loaf around and hang out with friends. I think everyone needs to take a Vacation every once in a while so they don't go completely Bonkers!
I found out that my favorite Voice actor Vic Mignogna is going to be at Anime Mid Atlantic 2010! He's well known for playing Edward Elric from the show Full Metal Alchemist. I've never had the pleasure of meeting him before, so now I'm super excited about the con! Hopefully he will have a panel, or a signing. As long as I get to meet him I will be happy!

Blah!

I didn't feel to well today, so I took like a 4 hour nap. I think working 7 days in a row finally caught up with me. I felt much better after the nap though.

I Was listening to Rent songs all day today! I never really paid much attention to Rent when I was singing the songs in Choir in high school, but I realized how much I love it! I think I might buy the movie next time I'm in Wal-mart.

I keep trying to Clean my room, and I end up sitting on the bed, watching Ouran High School Host club all day. I need to start listening to my Ipod when I clean because watching T.V. and DVDs does not work out. I my attention span is just not that big.

Virginia here I come!

I just purchased my train ticket to Virginia! I can't wait for June! I'm gonna spend a week hanging out with friends, and having crazy adventures. I will be arriving on the 5th, and spending the first 3 days with my Buddy Asha. Its basically gonna be a big awesome sleepover! Then on the 8th its back to my old stomping grounds in Williamsburg. I'm gonna hang out with My best friend, Jenn because its her 24th Birthday! Then the rest of the week will be a bunch of Chilling and hanging out with friends I miss, and haven't seen In a while. I'm going to an Anime Con (Anime Mid Atlantic) with my friends Beth and Keo Friday and Part of Saturday. Then Saturday night I'm going to see Jenn perform her part of the Ditzy Flight Attendant in the Musical COMPANY. I'm super excited about that, because I love Jenn and I love Musicals! On the last day I'm going to Drag Brunch In Richmond with My friends Laura, Matt, and Carol Ann. Its basically a Gay Club called Godfrey's that has Brunch every Sunday. They have Drag Queens come out and perform for everyone while you eat! Its brilliant! Then Monday its back on the train to South Carolina. I'm gonna be so Busy and tired, But its gonna be so worth it!

Work Work Work...

I've been working non Stop at the Grocery store this week and last week. I'm sure I'll be working all next week too. I'm glad I've been getting so many extra Hours! The more Money the better! It will come in handy when I got to visit my friends in Virginia in June. I actually found out that the week I'm visiting is the same weekend as Anime Mid Atlantic 2010! I didn't even check the dates for AMA because I wasn't expecting to go that Convention. So my timing just happens to Rock really hard! I will be Attending the con Friday and Saturday. I would go Sunday, but I'm going to Drag Brunch on Sunday in Richmond! If I have the chance to fit Anime and Drag Queens in one weekend, you know that's what I'm gonna do. Haha!

My eyes are Clear!

I've been having horrible Red Itchy eyes from all the pollen this spring. I also just have red eyes in general when I wake up so early for work. I did some research and found a lot of good reviews for the eye Drop brand Rohto V. It made in Japan and you can get it at your Local Wal-greens. Its supposed to Hydrated and Moisturize your eyes while clearing up the red. I went this afternoon and bought 'Cool' in the green Bottle(they have different strengths) the one suggested for a first time user It was 6.99. I put 2 drops in each eye and it immediately woke me up, and 10 seconds later my eyes were totally clear of the redness and way less itchy. I give this product 2 thumbs up!

Mall trip.

I went to Sally's and got my wig cap for my Sailor Moon wig. Its a Flesh color so it should go with whatever wig I want to wear it with in the future. I'm So excited for Neko Con and Anime USA! We have so many participating in Cosplay this year! Its always way more fun when you go in Groups to Cons!

I also went to the Mall and found a Giant Butterfly Head Band at Icings! Its so Harajuhku! It called to me across the room! It needed a new home on my head! I'm sure I have at least 10 giant head bands now. I think I have an Addiction!

Flapper Hair!

I got my hair cut like a flapper today! It looks really cute and turned out better then I thought it would. I think I'm gonna keep my hair short from now on. Keeping my hair was always such a pain. Here's a picture.



I went to the mall with my aunt, so she could buy some jeans. The jeans she had were so old they fell apart in the washer. I think that's a sign of needing to buy new ones.

Wigs and Gay Guys!

I got My Sailor moon Cosplay Wig in the mail today. It looks sooooo good! I can't wait to Wear it with the whole costume. I need to get a wig cap for my hair because its so short and it will help keep the wig on my head when I'm running around the Convention.


I was looking at Youtube and found these videos of a Sassy Gay Friend saving Shakespeare's tragic Heroines. It made me laugh so hard the first time I watched it! I used to love Shakespeare so much when I was in Middle school!

Movie!

I ended up going to see Iron Man in Imax today. It was really goooood! I went with my brother Greg, and his friend Will. We then went to the mall afterward so Greg could get a new hat. Apparently some Girl stole his at the beach when he wasn't looking. Boo!

I then Sent some flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. I hope she likes them. I got her tulips!



I've been watching this Anime called 'Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' and I decided I need to learn the dance that they do During the end Credits. Here is a Dance group Mirroring the Dance.



It's probably gonna be way harder for me to learn. Haha! They just make it look so easy!

I got my Sailor Moon Contacts in the mail the other day! They look so creepy and anime Like! I can't wait to wear them with my Usagi wig and Princess Serenity Dress at Neko Con 2010.


All the Flowers are Blooming in my Grandma's garden! She went and Picked some and put them in a vase on the Kitchen table. The pink roses were especially Beautiful.



I dropped my Cousins off at School this morning, and Embarrassed them by dancing Team Fresh style! haha. If you don't know who Team Fresh is....

Happy Free Comic Book day everyone!

Went to Captain Comics and Toys and got a free Sailor Moon Comic! Yay! I then went to the Flea market and a Motor Bike expo with my Cousins. The expo was pretty cool, even though it wasn't exactly my cup of tea. The Flea Market was soooooo gigantic! I didn't know where to start.

My feet are all Sandy.

I went to the Beach today with my Aunt and Cousins. I got to sketch the Folly Dock and Sit in the sun, which I never do. My cousins waded in the water and I buried my feet in the sand. It was really nice. I ended up Drawing Sailor Moon in the sand.



Over all I had a really chill time.

Anime Eyes!

I bought Blue circle contact Lenses for my Sailor Moon Costume today! They basically reflect more light to your eyes making them look like and anime Character's eyes. Here is a pic of the color I have chosen.



I also got a cute Hello Kitty contact case to keep them in!

Wal- mart makes me want to spend my money.

I went to Wal-Mart the other day and Bought a bunch of stuff. A new hair brush (pink of course), Makeup brushes, A pink t-shirt, a white eyeliner pencil (I wanted to try it out), and a new bra ( mine are all old and falling apart. I Also got a pair of Geek Glasses for my friend Laura. They were only 5 dollars and they remind me of Seymour from Little shop of horror.


Speaking of Geeks. I tripped over a shopping hand basket at work yesterday, and fell flat on my booty. I'm so graceful it hurts... Literally. I'm okay but it looked really bad. Oh well, at least it was funny.

Songs wont leave my Head!!!!

I was at work from 6am-2pm today and I kept getting songs stuck in my head! The First song was 'High School Never ends' By Bowling for Soup. It extremely catchy so listeners beware.



The second Song was 'Sakura Kiss' the Opening theme for the Anime Ouran High School Host Club.This so is so cute and upbeat I couldn't help humming it all day. If your and Anime fan I'm sure you've heard it.



I'm sure there will be more songs stuck in my head by tomorrow.

Cosplay and Rani

I bought a Sailor Moon Cosplay wig the other day. I can't wait to wear it with my Princess Serenity costume to Neko Con 2010 http://www.nekocon.com/ and Anime USA 2010 http://www.animeusa.org/



The color is my fav thing about it. I was gonna originally go for a more natural hair color, but I think this will make me stand out more. More like a Cartoon come to Life.

Ever since I went to Virginia For a Bollywood/ anime weekend with my friends Asha, Keo, and Beth, I've had this Rani Muhkerjee song stuck in my head.



I find myself humming it when I'm at work early in the morning. I love all the songs from 'Badal' they make you wanna get up and Dance!

I have to work 5 days this week from 6am-2pm. I'm happy to have my afternoons, but getting up so early is not in my nature. Oh well, hopefully I'll survive to see the free weekend I have coming up.
